South Korea plans to upgrade its shipping and fishing sectors with Artificial Intelligence and other technologies that are considered pillars of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced a 9-point plan on Monday to bolster its maritime industries over the next decade.
The goal is to develop fully autonomous ships by that time,... and to grab an ambitious 50 percent of the world market.
AI and Big Data will be used to manage logistics, and track fishing activities in real time.
