Organizers continue to prepare for Kim Jong-un's possible visit to Busan: Blue House
  • 4 years ago
The presidential office remains open to the possibility of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un coming to Busan for the Korea-ASEAN special summit which takes place in two weeks.
When asked whether there have been any developments on Kim's possible visit,... a senior Blue House official said there has been no visible progress to share yet.
The official said, however, that organizers continue to prepare for the possibility.
The proposal was first made by Indonesian President Joko Widodo last year.
South Korea's intelligence agency said in September that there is a chance Kim could visit.
But there has been no response from the North yet.
