Good morning. We have fine autumn weather in store with cool, crisp and clean air. Dress accordingly on your way out. We have a chilly start to the day but highs will rise fast leading to wide temperature differences in most regions, including mountainous areas.
For a closer look, it's chilly but lows in most parts of the country are starting above the seasonal norms, rain on Jeju will let up and sunny skies will be back. Meanwhile, those in Gyeongju will notice gaps of nearly 17 degrees today, starting the day at 4 degrees,
rising to 21 degrees so dress in layers. The rest will see highs in the upper teens to low twenties by the afternoon.
This Friday is Ipdong, marking the beginning of winter according to traditional calendar. We'll see lows plunging to 3 degrees in Seoul while some of central regions will see lows drop below freezing.
