Supreme Court asked the Chhattisgarh government to file a detailed affidavit explaining as to who ordered the tapping of phones and asked that the Chhattisgarh government as to whether right to privacy of a person can be violated like this. Taking serious note of the Chhattisgarh government’s tapping the phones of a senior IPS officer and his family members, the Supreme Court observed, no privacy is left for anybody.

IPS अफसर के फोन टैपिंग के मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सख्त टिप्पणी करते हुए छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार को फटकार लगाई है। साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ये भी कहा कि ऐसा लग रहा है देश में अब लोगों की निजता बची ही नहीं है।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूछा कि अफसर और परिवारवालों के फोन टेप क्यों हो रहे हैं ? इसके साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार को ये भी कहा कि फिलहाल आईपीएस अफसर के खिलाफ कोई कठोर कार्रवाई नहीं होगी। अब इस केस की अगली सुनवाई शुक्रवार को होगी।
