He delivered these remarks... at a ceremony marking the 90th anniversary of the Student Independence Movement,... which took place in the southwestern city of Gwangju on Sunday.
He added that the government will do its best to create a society... grounded on the principles of fairness and justice.
The Student Independence Movement against Japanese colonial rule... took place in Gwangju in 1929,... which triggered nationwide protests involving more than 50-thousand student activists.
