Funeral mass held for President Moon's mother Kang Han-ok

A funeral mass was held this morning at a cathedral in Busan for President Moon Jae-in's mother Kang Han-ok,... who passed away at the age of 92 on Tuesday.
Among the attendees were political leaders close to President Moon, including National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang, ruling Democratic Party Korea chief Lee Hae-chan, and presidential chief of staff Noh Young-min.
Pope Francis also sent a condolence message to President Moon, sending his blessings to all those at the mass.
During the three-day funeral, President Moon has been turning down condolence visits to the funeral,... making exceptions only to a handful of foreign ambassadors and opposition political party leaders.
After the mass, Kang will reportedly be laid to rest at a burial site in Yangsan Gyeongsangnam-do Province,... where the president's father is also buried.
