Time-lapse footage shows thick smoke billowing from a fire at Auckland's SkyCity convention centre on Tuesday (October 22).
The fire broke out in the early afternoon, local time, on Tuesday (October 22) seeing thousands of people evacuated from the surrounding area.
The filmed told Newsflare: "The fire is not yet under control it's been going for more than seven hours."
