Soon after India defeated South Africa by an innings and 202 runs and completed a series whitewash, the BCCI took to its Twitter handle and shared an image of Dhoni chatting with fellow Jharkhand teammate Shahbaz Nadeem. Nadeem made his debut in this game and made it special by claiming the final two wickets. Dhoni, who last played his international match way back in England which was the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand, was later seen chatting with Head Coach Ravi Shastri.

भारतीय टीम ने रांची टेस्ट मैच में साउथ अफ्रीका को एक पारी और 202 रन से हरा दिया है। इसी के साथ भारतीय टीम ने तीन मैचों की ये सीरीज 3-0 से जीतकर मेहमान टीम दक्षिण अफ्रीका का सूपड़ा साफ कर दिया है। टीम इंडिया ने पहली बार साउथ अफ्रीकी टीम को टेस्ट सीरीज में क्लीन स्वीप किया है। रांची टेस्ट मैच के चौथे दिन सिर्फ 12 गेंदों का खेल हुआ जिसमें दूसरा ओवर कराने आए डेब्यूडेंट खिलाड़ी शाहबाज नदीम ने ओवर की आखिरी दो गेंदों में दो विकेट झटके और मैच भारत की झोली में डाल दिया। मैच खत्म होने के बाद टीम इंडिया के पूर्व कप्तान धोनी स्टेडियम में नजर आए, धोनी की फोटो बीसीसीआई ने ट्वीट की है।
