U.S. federal court finalizes confiscation of N. Korean vessel "Wise Honest" by U.S. government

A New York federal court has finalized the decision to allow the U.S. to confiscate the North Korean cargo ship "Wise Honest".
According to VOA Korea,… the U.S. won the court battle on Monday local time to confiscate the North Korean vessel… in what is the first case of the U.S. government officially confiscating North Korean property for disposal by sale.
The "Wise Honest" was detained by Indonesia early last year for illicit coal shipments... and U.S. prosecutors seized the vessel in May this year for violation of economic sanctions.
It was disposed by sale in August before the final judgement.
The money received for the vessel is expected to be distributed to the family of people who have died in North Korea such as Otto Warmbier.
