Likoni ferry tragedy victims laid to rest in Makueni

Emotional scenes characterized the burial of Mariam Kighenda and her daughter Amanda Mutheu who drowned in the Indian ocean after their vehicle slipped off the ferry at the Likoni channel. Those attending the ceremony called on the government to take action against possible acts and omissions by officers from the Kenya ferry services.
