Prosecutors have requested an arrest warrant for the wife of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk... who resigned last week under investigation, along with his family, for corruption.
Cho's wife, Chung Kyung-sim, faces ten charges,... including forgery of a presidential citation for her daughter and violating the capital law with respect to an allegedly suspicious investment.
Chung is a professor at Dongyang University.
Because of a brain tumor, it's understood that Chung can no longer participate in the investigation, but the prosecution apparently decided she needs to be arrested anyway.
The Seoul Central District Court is expected to announce its decision on the warrant Thursday morning.
