S. Korea to be the world's first and best in future cars: Pres. Moon

President Moon Jae-in says he is certain South Korea will become the world's number one when it comes to future cars.
He was speaking at an event Tuesday at Hyundai Motor Company's research center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do Province.
In front of 150 government officials and companies and startups related to the field,... he reaffirmed the government's goal of making Korea the most competent nation in the global future car market by 2030.
For that, the government will boost the sales of electric and hydrogen cars to one third of all automobile sales by that year.
It also plans to commercialize autonomous cars for major roads nationwide by 2027 three years before the original deadline.
