S. Korea defeats Japan 3-1 for their first win of 2019 Women's Volleyball World Cup

The South Korean women's national volleyball team earned their first win at the 2019 Women's Volleyball World Cup on Monday,... defeating Japan 3-to-1.
Led by outside hitters Lee Jae-young and Kim Yeon-koung's combined 48 attack points,... the 9th-ranked South Koreans rallied back to defeat the 6th-ranked Japanese side at Yokohama Arena.
The win was desperately needed as South Korea lost their first two games.
South Korea's next match is against 5th-ranked Russia on Wednesday.
