North Korea said Wednesday that it will accept the recommendations of the UN and cooperate with South Korea on the issue of separated families.
It was responding to a periodic review the UN Human Rights Council conducts on all member states.
In its response, the North said it will accept 132 of the 199 recommendations, explaining that it will work with Seoul to fundamentally solve the issue of family separation... and follow through on the two sides' summit agreements on the matter.
It also said it will work to protect the rights of the disabled.
