Hard-line right wing lawmaker in line for Japanese Cabinet role in Abe's reshuffle

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will likely change most of his Cabinet members during a reshuffle to be announced on Wednesday.
Abe will name right-wing lawmaker Koichi Hagiuda as the new education minister. Haguida is currently executive deputy secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party.
Only Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga and Finance Minister Taro Aso are expected to retain their current positions in the Cabinet.
Japan's Foreign Minister Taro Kono who had faced worsening diplomatic ties with South Korea might be appointed as defense minister.
Critics in Japan are calling the reshuffle a "friend Cabinet" or a "revolving door Cabinet" as Abe has reappointed past Cabinet members to major positions.
Experts say the reshuffle will help Abe focus on his goal of achieving constitutional change.
