Good morning, it rained all through night in the capital area, and northern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province saw more than 200 millimeters of heavy showers. The weather agency issued a heavy rain warning to metropolitan areas last night. The warning has been lifted as of 4 am this morning but do expect a rainy morning commute.
Southern parts of the country, however, are forecast to see showers into tonight, so those planning to hit the road tonight to head your hometown should take the weather into account.
The Chuseok holiday starts tomorrow, the day of Chuseok is looking bright but morning lows could go down into the teens which is around the average for this time of year, while daily highs will be higher than the average.
As for today's temperatures. Morning temperatures are starting out similar to yesterday.
Daily highs will be similar or a touch lower, those in southern parts of the country will notice lower highs this afternoon.
