Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has announced his resignation amid the country's ongoing political crisis.
In a speech to Italy's parliament on Tuesday local time, Conte criticized Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini and accused him of bringing down the ruling coalition and weakening the country by calling for an election.
Earlier this month... Salvini, the leader of the anti-immigrant League party, said his alliance with the anti-establishment Five Star Movement was dead... deepening the 14-month-old government's turmoil.
