President Moon Jae-in is also gearing up -- once again -- to ensure Japan's unprecedented export restrictions on South Korea will have the least amount of damage to the nation's economy.
The president will chair the National Economic Advisory Council this morning where he'll come up with sophisticated counteractions to tackle Tokyo's retaliatory trade controls.
The presidential Blue House says the meeting will be an opportunity to collect opinions from a variety of angles, both from members of academia and the business world.
President Moon will be joined by Lee Jay-min , the vice chair of the council and Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki as well as other related ministers and presidential advisors on the economy.
