Harmonic decelerators used to
be imported mostly from Japan,... making them highly vulnerable to moves like the recent one by Japan to exclude South Korea from its whitelist.
This was the president's first on-site visit since Japan started taking these measures,... reflecting his government's determination to help local companies localize key materials.
Moon said Japan's trade restrictions could end up giving techology-rich companies the chance to take a big leap forward.
