Nine people have been confirmed dead and at least 26 injured in the second mass shooting to hit the U.S. within 24 hours.
The attack took place in Dayton city, Ohio at 1AM Sunday, local time.
Police named the gunman as Conner Betts, a 24-year-old white male.
He was killed by police just one minute after he started his shooting spree.
His 22-year-old sister is known to be the youngest victim.
CCTV footage showed dozens of people running away from the scene.
Police found a shotgun in the suspect's car and said the guns were purchased legally.
As the area is a popular spot for shops and restaurants, the area was full of people at the time of the attack.
The motive is not yet known.
Police added there's no evidence showing the shootings in Texas and Ohio were linked.
Speaking a few hours ago, U.S. President Donald Trump said hate has no place in the U.S., adding he would make a statement on the shooting on Monday morning, local time.
