S. Korean parliamentary delegation meets U.S. lawmakers over Japan's export curbs

A parliamentary delegation from South Korea is in Washington for meetings with U.S. lawmakers in a bid to resolve the Seoul-Tokyo trade spat.
The seven-member group met Thursday with Senator Tom Cotton, member of Committee on Armed Services and Representative Ted Yoho,... among others.
Speaking after those talks, Chung Sye-kyun, who's leading Seoul's delegation, said the U.S. generally understands Seoul's position and that Japan's move goes against free trade principles,... but it's difficult for them to get directly involved.
On Friday, the delegation will attend a bi-annual meeting with U.S. and Japanese lawmakers.
