Michelle Obama In Apparent Jab At Trump: It's Not 'My America Or Your America,' It's 'Our America'

Michelle Obama posted a tweet Friday in an apparent response to recent controversial remarks by President Trump.

Michelle Obama on Friday appeared to take a jab at President Trump.
"What truly makes our country great is its diversity," the former first lady tweeted. "I've seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there's a place for us all. We must remember it's not my America or your America. It's our America."
Her post comes almost a week after the president sparked controversy by tweeting that several progressive Congresswomen of color should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."
A recent Trump rally also featured a crowd chant of "send her back," directed at one of the women, Somali-born Rep. Ilhan Omar.
On Thursday, Trump claimed he tried to stop the chant.
However, as CBS News notes: "The video tells a different story. The president stands in silence for nearly 15 seconds, looking around the arena. When Mr. Trump resumed his speech, he made no mention of the chant, which started after he attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar."
