China says U.S. must lift all additional tariffs for mutual agreement on trade

Turning our attention to the on-again-off-again U.S.-China trade spat.
Beijing's Ministry of Commerce has reiterated the strain U.S. tariffs put on the two countries' relationship.
The ministry's spokesperson said Thursday that the trade frictions were initially triggered by Washington's imposition of additional tariffs on Chinese goods.
He said the tariffs should be lifted as agreed upon during the recent G20 Summit in Osaka so that the two countries can resume consultations on the basis of equality and mutual respect.
Commenting on President Trump's recent claim that China agreed to purchase large quantities of U.S. agricultural products,… the spokesperson said China and the U.S are strongly complementary in terms of agricultural trade and have enormous room for cooperation.
