Main construction work complete on new Beijing Daxing International Airport

After five years of construction, major building work is complete on China’s new Daxing International Airport, with three months to go before its planned opening. Main work was officially declared finished on June 30, 2019, on the new terminal which will serve the capital Beijing after it opens to passengers and aircraft on September 30.
