Good morning. Friday is shaping up to be muggy and uncomfortable. The discomfort index shows that high temperatures and humidity will make many feel uncomfortable by the mid afternoon so drink plenty of water and take it easy today.
Some eastern regions will see passing showers with 5 to 40 millimeters of rain expected, but the rest of the country will have humid conditions and partly sunny skies.
Daily highs in most areas will be a couple of notches lower, Seoul at 28, Daegu at 29 degrees Celsius, but muggy conditions will make it feel sticky.
The monsoon rains return on Saturday, southern parts of the country will see heavier showers again and that rain will linger into Sunday. Seoul will have a mostly sunny Sunday.
