‘Avengers' Writer Reveals Why
Black Widow-Hulk
Romance Was Cut Writer Stephen McFeely recently appeared
on the ‘Empire’ podcast to answer questions
pertaining to the ‘Avengers’ series. When asked what happened to the romance
between Black Widow and Hulk, McFeely
said it was cut due to time constraints. Stephen McFeely,
via ‘Empire’ The characters, played by Mark Ruffalo
and Scarlett Johansson, were first
romantically linked in ‘Age of Ultron.’ Their relationship was then dramatically
cut short at the end of the movie, when
Banner seemingly abandoned the Avengers. McFeely said that scenes wrapping up
their relationship were shot for the next movie,
