How Warner Bros Studio faces Sanitary Crisis?
Hollywood adjusts itself to the Coronavirus pandemic and made a decision that will upset the whole movie industry.
Warner Bros studio decided that all of their movies planed for 2021 will be streamed on the HBO Max platform the same day they’ll be released at the movies.
This decision only concerns the United States for now and will be extended in Europe and Latin America during the second semester of 2021.
Usually the big Hollywood productions are screened at the movies for 90 days before being available elsewhere.
But the closing of movies theater in several regions of the US forced Hollywood to find alternative solutions.
Disney already made the plunge by releasing a movie on its own streaming platform Disney+.
The sanitary crisis speeded up an already ongoing process, by prioritizing streaming and putting in second place movies theater.
