S. Korea's consumer sentiment index falls slightly in June: BOK
  • 5 years ago
South Korea's composite consumer sentiment has fallen for the second consecutive month in June.
According to the Bank of Korea, the figure stood at 97-point-5,... down zero-point-four points from May, and down more than four points from April.
The central bank attributed the slight fall to negative responses to sluggish domestic economic data such as falling disposable income.
The index is below the one-hundred-mark, indicating pessimists on the economy outnumber optimists.
