How to Extract RAR Files on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

Right click on the desktop, and then click on 'open terminal'. After that, follow the steps below:-


Step 1: Update Package Lists

sudo apt update


Step 2: Install unrar

sudo apt install unrar


Step 3: After Installing unrar, go to the directory where you have your rar file.


Step 4: Extract it by using the command below:-

sudo unrar e -r rarfilename_with_extension
