Trump begins Japan visit by meeting business leaders

U.S. President Trump is increasing pressure on Japanese businesses,... to even out Tokyo's trade surplus with the United States.
On the first day of his state visit to Japan,... Trump on Saturday met with local business
leaders who he asked to invest in America.
He added that Japan had long held an advantage in their bilateral relationship,... and said he intends to even out trade imbalances.
The U.S. leader on Sunday is scheduled to meet with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,... to play a round of golf and attend a sumo match,... before they sit down for summit talks the next day. The two leaders are expected to discuss trade and security issues.
Trump will wrap up his visit by meeting Emperor Naruhito on Monday to pay his respects.
He is the first head of government to make a state visit to Japan,... since Emperor Naruhito was crowned earlier this month.
