Korean carmakers' auto output and exports increase in April

South Korea's exports continue to go down overall,... but its production and exports of cars rose last month.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy says... auto output went up five percent on-month in April.... to around 3-hundred-72 thousand units.
That was thanks to one extra working day during that period... and new models including... Hyundai Motor's Palisade.
On-year, auto exports increased three percent... thanks to solid sales in North America and Europe.
Sales in Korea of domestically made cars went up... but overall car sales were down 3-point-6 percent on-year because of a fall in sales of imports.
