Good morning, we had summery weather yesterday in many western and central parts of the country. Temperatures approached 30 degrees Celsius and strong sunshine made it feel even hotter. Temperatures on Monday will edge down a couple notches but will remain on the warm side, also notice much warmer morning lows...in the mid teens now.
Meanwhile regions in the east including Sokcho had a breezy day on Sunday with highs in the teens...and it's shaping up to be a cool start to Monday again for north-eastern regions due to easterly winds.
We are waking up to lots of clouds, it's forecast to be partly cloudy all day with rain clouds moving in to Seoul and northern parts of Gangwon-do Province tonight. Precipitation will be less than 5 millimeters so you probably won't need to carry out an umbrella with you.
As for this morning's temperatures, double digits for most parts, Seoul and Jeju at 16 degrees. A dry weather advisory remains in place across the country.
Daily highs will be ranging between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius, despite lots of clouds, UV rays will still be high in most areas.
