Multinational maritime drills held in Busan, Singapore starting Monday

Multinational maritime drills are being held in waters near Korea's southern port city of Busan this week... by participating nations of the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting-Plus.
The Korean navy says... 16 warships and six aircraft from a dozen countries... are taking part in the two-part exercise.
Korea is sending the guided missile destroyer Wang Geon , guided missile frigate Jeonbuk , amphibious landing ship Cheonjabong ,... and three helicopters for part one of the exercise,... which starts Monday.
It's sending the destroyer Wang Geon for the second part of the drills,... which will kick off in waters near Singapore on May 9.
