The OECD says robots will take over fourteen percent of jobs worldwide in the next twenty years.
In a report released Thursday, the OECD said the "risk of job automation is real," and in addition to the 14 percent of jobs that'll disappear, it said another thirty-two percent of jobs "could be radically transformed."
The OECD warned that a failure to respond to the changing work environment could cause social and political difficulties.
But, it added that technological progress also creates jobs.
It recommended that countries adopt adequate labor market protection for workers.
