President Moon visits Goseong to comfort wildfire victims, check restoration work

President Moon Jae-in visited Goseong, Gangwon-do Province, this morning to comfort the victims of the massive wildfires that caused widespread damage in the region earlier this month.
The president's trip to Goseong is part of the eighth leg of his nationwide economic tour, which began last year.
He paid a visit to temporary shelters that are being used by around 160 victims whose homes were destroyed in the inferno.
President Moon also inspected sites where restoration work is ongoing.
It's the second time the president has visited the scene of the disaster.
