South Korea's presidential chief of staff, Noh Young-min, says the most important task at hand... is preparing for a fourth inter-Korean summit.
He was speaking Thursday in a meeting held by the special committee on the implementation of inter-Korean agreements.
The meeting was held in line with the upcoming one-year anniversary of the April 27th summit in Panmunjeom.
Noh described that summit as a historic kickstart to diplomacy with North Korea and to lowering tensions.
But he also said that it's only the first step,... and that there is still a long road ahead.
He called on officials to do their best to make progress on the agreements in the Panmunjeom and Pyeongyang declarations.
