Support centers will be opened in South Korea to help migrant women enduring domestic or sexual violence.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family has selected three locations in Daegu, Incheon and Chungcheongbuk-do Province… to provide counseling, medical and legal support and temporary shelter to victims.
The centers will provide translation services in the victims' native language and protect the victims' rights.
The ministry says it plans to open two more centers before the end of the year.
