Rescuers in Rio de Janiero are winding down their search for victims after finding the body of the last reported missing person from two recently collapsed apartment buildings.
Local authorities have confirmed the final death toll to be 23.
According to officials on Sunday, the body of the final female victim was pulled out of the rubble over the weekend.
Arrest warrants have been issued for three people suspected of being involved in the construction of the buildings.
Following the disaster, officials in Rio have ordered the demolition of 16 buildings that were either illegally constructed or appear to be in danger of collapsing.
