Korean franchises' growth slows

Franchise companies in Korea have more franchisees, but business is slow, suggesting the market is saturated.
Data from the trade ministry shows that in 2017, revenue was up nearly 3 percent on-year... far lower than the 17 percent growth two years prior.
The number of franchise stores, though, had risen more than five percent.
The ministry said they were struggling with higher labor costs and more competition.
