President appoints his picks for five ministries despite rival parties' opposition

President Moon Jae-in has gone ahead and appointed five new ministers to his Cabinet... over the objections of the opposition parties.
The Presidential office says that Moon appointed five ministers -- including those of unification, interior and safety, and SMEs.
Those appointees are Kim Yeon-chul for unification,... ruling party lawmaker Park Young-sun for SMEs and startups -- another lawmaker Chin Young for the interior ministry, Park Yang-woo for culture... and Moon Seong-hyeok for the oceans ministry.
There had been two other nominees... but their nominations were scuttled because of ethics questions.
The opposition parties objected to some of the ministers the president has appointed too... over their qualifications... but those objections are not binding.
