여야 5당 원내대표, 4월 국회 의사일정 합의 불발

Those cabinet appointments cast a shadow, meanwhile, over the first day of parliament's April session.
The rival parties met on Monday to set an agenda for the next 30 days... but were unable to agree.
The main opposition Liberty Korea Party had said it would not cooperate on legislative affairs if the president went ahead with two of those appointments -- those for ministers of unification and SMEs.
They had criticized the unification minister for his past remarks and views on North Korea,... while the SME minister was criticized for refusing to submit documents concerning ethical lapses.
However, the ruling Democratic Party has said parliament needs to work together to revitalize the economy.
The parties did agree, though, to work on dealing with the aftermath of the wildfire in Gangwon-do.
