White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow says Washington and Beijing are getting 'closer and closer' to a trade deal.
Speaking to CBS on Sunday, Kudlow said there'll be a lot of teleconferences between related officials this week to continue the discussions.
The two sides held in-person talks in Washington last week.
Although Kudlow didn't share details about the negotiations... he stressed that they have made great progress on issues related to intellectual property theft and the forced transfer of technology.
