Online retail sales increased in Korea last month... mainly due to more people buying products related to fine dust.
According to the Trade Ministry on Thursday, online retail sales went up by 12 percent on-year in February.
The ministry attributed the rise to an increase in sales of home appliances such as air purifiers.
On the other hand, the nation's overall retail sales -- online and off -- dropped by 0-point-4 percent.
Offline sales fall by more than 7 percent.
People spent less money at the big retail stores last month... because the Lunar New Year holiday came a week earlier than last year.
