Michelle, as we transition into the spring season, we are experience huge temperature gaps between the morning and afternoon hours.
That's right Daniel, most parts of the country including the capital saw highs up in the mid-teens today, but as soon as the sun goes down, so is the mercury. By 9 PM most regions are seeing single digit readings.
Tuesday will be sunny and some of the nation's daily highs will peak into the twenties. Meanwhile, conditions in Beijing and Tokyo will turn overcast in the afternoon.
Seoul wakes up to 5 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon still freezing cold at minus 1, while Busan and Jeju feel warmer at 8 and 10 degrees respectively.
The daily highs will be 3 to 7 degrees warmer than the seasonal average. Seoul will rise to 17 degrees, Daegu 21 and Gyeongju 22.
From Wednesday to Thursday morning, the country is expecting another round of spring showers. Afterward, the temperature will drop back to seasonal norms, so don't put away those jackets just yet.
