Korea adds 263,000 new jobs in February, unemployment at 4.7%

The number of newly employed people in South Korea in February increased by more than 260-thousand on-year... the biggest increase in 13 months.
According to Statistics Korea, public sector jobs and agricultural jobs for the elderly increased sharply while manufacturing jobs continued to fall.
The number of unemployed, however, continued to increase, reaching 1-point-three million people.
The overall unemployment rate hit a nine-year-high of 4-point-7 percent in February.
The youth unemployment rate was more than double the overall jobless rate.
