It seems South Korea is working hard behind the scenes to keep drive for peace between the two Koreas on track... despite last month's disappointing summit in Hanoi.
Seoul's top security adviser Chung Eui-yong reportedly traveled to China last weekend for a meeting with the country's top diplomat, Yang Jiechi.
Sources say the two discussed the North Korea-U.S. summit and possible follow-up measures.
Chung was reportedly due to speak on the phone with his U.S. counterpart John Bolton Monday evening, Korea time, but the Blue House hasn't confirmed if the call happened.
Bolton had told ABC News that he would be be speaking with Chung about the latest satellite pictures showing the regime could be rebuilding its missile launch site.
