S. Korea aims to expand use of hydrogen energy

South Korea is expanding its use of hydrogen energy in its efforts to become more eco-friendly.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on Thursday that it plans to have 2-thousand hydrogen fuel-cell electric buses running in the country's major cities by 2022.
This year, the government is looking to replace 35 buses with fuel cell electric vehicles by providing management subsidies to bus companies.
The government is also looking into creating hydrogen-fueled buildings that can produce their own hydrogen and contain hydrogen charging facilities.
