In a Gazette, the Ministry of Finance said that it will be rolling out a Rs 20 coin in the shape of a 12-edged polygon. This is the first time ever a Rs 20 coin will be issued in the country. Know more about the new coin

ಅಂಧರು ಕೂಡಾ ನಾಣ್ಯ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಚಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂಥ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಹೊಸ ಸರಣಿಯ ರೂ 1, ರೂ 2,ರೂ 5, ರೂ 10 ಹಾಗೂ 20 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಮುಖಬೆಲೆಯ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ದೆಹಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರದಂದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ವಿತ್ತ ಸಚಿವ ಅರುಣ್ ಜೇಟ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
