S. Korean business people make 8th request to visit Gaeseong Industrial Complex

South Koreans who ran businesses at the now-suspended joint factory park in Gaeseong, again requested the government let them visit the complex and check their assets.
Almost 180 business owners and 5 lawmakers are hoping to visit the park next Wednesday.
This is their eighth such application.
Their last application in January wasn't approved.
Seoul's unification minister said on Tuesday that they will look to resume economic projects with the North, and what can be done now without violating sanctions is to have the business owners check their assets.
The Gaeseong Industrial Complex was shut down in February 2016 after Pyeongyang conducted its fourth nuclear test.
