Shani Shingnapur temple: Women's group stopped at Supa, 70km away from Nasik

While thousands of women were marching ahead to enter the Shani Shingnapur shrine in Nashik, prohibitory orders were imposed around the temple with huge police forces surrounding the temple in order to stop the massive contingent from entering the temple premises. The female cops cordoned off the area and stopped the women contingents who were around 40 kms away from the shrine in Supa, Maharashtra. Around 500 members of the outfit had reached Ahmednagar to go to the temple and enter the sanctum sanctorum but they were detained by the police a few kilometres ahead
